Ph.D: Chemical Biology

Konstanz Research School, Chemical Biology

The University of Konstanz, with its Institutional Strategy to promote Top-Level Research, has been receiving continuous funding since 2007 within the framework of the Excellence Initiative by the German Federal and State Governments.

Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology: Research and Graduate Training at the Interface of Chemistry and Biology
The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology (KoRS-CB) is an interdisciplinary initiative of the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Computer & Information Science at the University of Konstanz and is supported by the German Excellence Initiative.

KoRS-CB guides talented graduate students to scientific excellence. The individually tailored training programme - fully in English language - and the intensive supervision by an interdisciplinary thesis committee are the basic elements for the excellent educational standards of the graduate school. Research projects are available in the following research areas: Synthetic Chemistry, Cellular Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomedicine, and Computational Life Science.

KoRS-CB will accept new fellows in April 2014. Thus, KoRS-CB invites applications for Fellowships for Ph.D. Students from highly motivated and enthusiastic students with a keen interest in interdisciplinary research and with an excellent degree (Master or Diploma) in Biology, Chemistry, Computational Life Science, or related areas.

The research projects and the application procedure are specified on our homepage: http://www.chembiol.uni-konstanz.de.
Please send your application to the KoRS-CB office in one single pdf file via e-mail: application-chembiol@uni-konstanz.de via the Apply button below by 15 January 2014.
