Cancer has a position for a motivated PhD student or postdoc interested

We
recently discovered somatic mutations in the ribosome in T-cell
leukemia. However, the extent to which somatic ribosome mutations are
occurring in other cancer types, the mechaisms by which the ribosome
defects we identified contribute to carcinogenesis and the therapeutic
implications of our findings are currently unknown.
To find answers to these questions, we are employing high-throughput approaches including RNA sequencing, targeted resequencing, exome/genome resequencing and mass spectrometry. We are searching for a bioinformatician that can interact with the biologists in the group to make sense out of the large scale datasets that we are generating.
