Basic Purpose |
|
Examine life-cycle energy
consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and air emissions associated with
the manufacturing of conventional and alternative vehicle systems.
Extract energy and emissions data associated with vehicle materials
life-cycle from technical literature and through interactions with other
national laboratories, academia, industry, and stakeholders. Work with
researchers to expand the GREET model with the new data to enhance the
model`s capability of assessing life-cycle energy use and emissions
associated with the manufacturing of conventional and advanced vehicles.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience |
|
Considerable
Considerable knowledge of materials used in the manufacturing of conventional and advanced vehicles.
Considerable knowledge of materials production and vehicles manufacturing.
Considerable quantitative skills to analyze a large quantity of data to convey trends in results
Considerable knowledge of life cycle analysis methodology and techniques.
Considerable computer modeling experience and skills using Excel and other softwares.

Good skills in oral and written communications and presentations.
Good analytical skills to analyze, interpret, and aggregate diverse data.
Good communication skills and time management in a team environment.
